Not a government office or records custodian. This is a private reference service. It cannot obtain or certify records, decide who lives at an address, or change a public roll or database. Send record requests to the office that keeps the document. For an emergency, call 911. For stalking or harassment concerns, contact local police.
Find the Right Newberg Record Office
Use the office that holds the underlying record. The common Newberg routes are listed below, followed by the City and County public-records contacts that can direct a specific request.
- Address, parcel, or recorded-land research: use the Newberg Street Directory for the Assessor, GIS, and County Clerk sequence.
- Older directories and historic household context: use the Newberg Directory Book for library, museum, and archive routes.
- One-person record questions: use the Newberg Resident Lookup for court, vital, voter, license, and property boundaries.
- Municipal permits, plans, minutes, ordinances, or resolutions: begin with the Newberg City Recorder and its ORMS or public-records request path.
- County deeds, plats, marriage records, elections, or recorded instruments: contact the Yamhill County Clerk, not the City Recorder or Circuit Court.

For a record that is not available in a portal, make a focused written request under Oregon’s Inspection of Public Records Law, ORS 192.311 to 192.478, to the holding office. Give the date range, address, record number, and keywords that identify the material. Exempt records remain closed even when a request is properly made.
